SAN ANGELO, Texas — Beginning Monday, visitors to the San Angelo school district’s Head Start, elementary or middle school campuses will undergo a standardized check-in procedure using the V-Soft Visitor Management System.
Visitors to a San Angelo Independent School District campus will be asked to provide identification that will then be scanned using the V-Soft technology. Once a visitor is cleared, a badge with a photo will be printed and issued to the visitor.
The system is used in thousands of schools nationwide to help identify offenders and to increase campus security, according to an SAISD news release.
